Is this service really free of charge?
It seems too good to be true doesn’t it? Why would someone be offering you free advice? We can assure you that it isn’t a form of loss leader or lure to tempt you into investing in a costly service - we just want to help as many small business people as possible.
Take a look at our “About Us” page to find out more information on why we do what we do, and be reassured, this project is the opposite of a sales process, we’re genuinely offering a day of advice and guidance entirely free of charge.
It’s intended to be an entirely positive and stimulating process that can make a snapshot assessment of your business and present you with some interesting and worthwhile feedback and ideas. There really isn’t anything to lose - except a day or so of your time.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We’ll have an initial chat in advance of getting started to establish whether you might find the consultation beneficial. We’ll get an idea about your business, some of the challenges you’re dealing with and which areas you feel you would like to focus on if you proceed with the consultation.
If we both agree to go ahead with the “Snapshot” trouble-shooter consultation we’ll set a mutually agreeable date on which to conduct it.
Before that date we’ll take a look at the public facing aspects of your business: whether you have a clear and effective online presence including, where appropriate, website, social media, press coverage, and booking/enquiry handling procedures.
You can look forward to the day safe in the knowledge that it is designed to be a relaxed, informal, fun, enjoyable opportunity to take a look at your business with the assistance of an extra pair of eyes.
THE ONE DAY PROGRAMME
Every client is unique and how the consultation is conducted depends on a variety of factors such as location, type of business, and the main objectives you highlight in our initial chat. We’ll decide in advance whether to meet in-person or remotely depending on the circumstances.
We’ll walk through various areas of the business such as operations, sales, and marketing as well as some of the findings from our advance assessment of the public facing aspects of your business.
In most cases the feedback will be provided verbally on the day with a written summary being provided at a later date where appropriate. The whole process should be relaxed, non-judgemental, enjoyable, and inspiring. You should come away from the experience with some interesting and stimulating ideas for driving your business forward with fresh impetus and momentum.
