John Dicey AUTHOR
John Dicey co-authored dozens of Allen Carr’s Easyway books during his time with the organisation.
The books, which focus on helping readers with a wide range of addiction and behavioural issues, have sold millions of copies worldwide and have been translated into many languages: as varied as Bulgarian, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and many more. The books are available as paperbacks, e-books, and audiobooks from all good high street and online booksellers.
John Dicey’s writing exploits
Allen Carr himself sadly passed away in 2006 and John took up the challenge to continue writing and publishing Allen Carr books whilst updating and further developing the method so that it could be applied to many more addictions and behavioural issues. Many of the books are international bestsellers published in dozens of languages in more than 50 countries across the globe.
After many years John reluctantly accepted the title of co-author of the books - he always attributed the tremendous success and popularity of the method and the books he helped create to Allen himself. He also gives huge credit to the colleagues that assisted him in his work after Allen passed away.
